Jason C. Maier, Esq. – Founder and Managing Attorney
Jason C. Maier, Esq. leads the Maier Law Firm staff with a strong background in business litigation, contract disputes, and construction law. He has built a reputation for providing strategic legal solutions and advocating for clients in complex legal matters.
Jason is one of only 291 attorneys in Florida to achieve Florida Bar Board Certification in construction law. Board Certification is the highest level of evaluation by the Florida Bar, recognizing attorneys for their expertise, professionalism, and ethics. This distinction establishes Jason as a specialist, allowing him to handle complex litigation, contract disputes, and regulatory matters with a high level of skill in this field.

Elizabeth “Liz” Montgomery, Esq. – Senior Associate Attorney
Elizabeth “Liz” Montgomery, Esq. has been a practicing attorney in Florida since 2000. Her legal background includes general civil litigation, business law, judgment collection, and trial representation. She has worked with Jason C. Maier, Esq. since 2005 and has been “Of Counsel” since 2012.
Liz has successfully represented individuals and businesses in a variety of legal matters, from contract disputes to litigation. Her experience in trial law and judgment enforcement makes her a valuable member of our legal team. Her ability to navigate complex cases and provide strategic legal counsel strengthens the firm’s ability to serve clients effectively.
Melissa S. Parnell – Senior Paralegal
Melissa S. Parnell has worked as a paralegal and legal secretary for top law firms in Florida since 2005. Her experience includes pre-trial and trial litigation. She worked in the litigation and construction law departments of a well-known West Palm Beach firm before joining our firm.
Melissa worked with Jason C. Maier, Esq. at a large firm from 2004 to 2009 and rejoined him in 2024 as part of the Maier Law Firm staff. She plays a key role in case management, assisting attorneys in preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, and supporting clients through each step of the legal process. Her extensive knowledge and attention to detail help ensure that cases are handled efficiently and effectively.
